Shannon Murdey-Green

I am a very relaxed person and have an easy going personality so a shoot at my studio is no big drama! There are 2 ways we can go about organising your shoot, the first is via pre-consultation at my home and the second is via a phone call.

We will put a date in the diary for you to pop in and have a coffee with me while we chat about  what you would like your Portrait session to encompass.  I will go through what style of shoot you want, what clothes I would recommend you bring and what colours to wear in order to give you that timeless portrait that has longevity as well as Legacy. We can chat about any quirks that you want me to be aware of or any particular areas you want me to focus on. If you want to have hair and makeup done prior to arriving that's totally up to you and I can always recommend someone locally. If you would prefer to do your hair & makeup yourself then that's no problem at all. Whatever makes you comfortable and happy.
Portrait Session

Depending on what sort of shoot you have asked for the time will vary, but I usually do a 2 hour shoot for my Collections, and take it at an easy pace. Within the session you can change your outfits 2 or 3 times to achieve  different looks and for ladies,  hair can be either up or down and makeup can change from day to evening look. If I am  shooting a person on their own I do a combination of poses that give you variety in your Collection. If it's a small family group or a group of 3 etc. I structure the poses to suit the needs of the client.

Viewing of Portraits

Approximately 1 week after the shoot I will upload watermarked edited files to my Proofing site and you can then go through your portfolio and select the images you love. Depending on whether you wanted framed prints or digital files will determine the time you finally receive your Portraits.

Framed Portraits will be ready 3 - 4 weeks from viewing day and are to be collected from my studio.
Digital files will be sent electronically within 2 days of confirmed full payment.

Payment for Prints/Framed Portraits/Canvases are due on the day of collection at my studio.
Options are either cash on the day or cleared electronic payment prior to the collection date.

Should you receive a SMGP voucher as a gift from a friend the value will be put against your Collection and any outstanding balance will need to be paid by you.

Portfolio Building

I am continually showcasing my work and therefore I do use images from my portrait sittings on social media - both on and offline.
